VELUX Pitched roof skylights (FS,VS,VSE) are designed to be installed at a minimum 15 degree roof pitch. In Australia a low pitch roof design (flat roof) is becoming more and more common in a range of profiles such as, Tile, Klip Lock, Trim deck, Corrugated and Concrete. In order to install a VELUX pitched roof skylight on a low pitch design, our supplier manufactures a pitch adaptor base flashing to suit the entire VELUX range, this will ensure the weather proof integrity of your VELUX skylight.
With these flashings now available, the European roof windows can be installed on flat roofs and provide an architectural finish to any room. Pitch adaptor flashings complement European roof windows that normally would not be able to be installed on roofs with pitches below 15°. These flashings are supplied standard from Zincalume steel and are available to be powdercoated to complement the Colorbond range of colours. The flashings are available to suit all roof profiles. These flashings can be supplied in a range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel and copper.
